In 2006, Lucas de Staël, designer, launched Undostrial before launching his brand same name in 2012. He then installed a workshop in an old printing factory in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, making this new place an experimental laboratory, a real hub for creation and production.
Our goal is to transform matter into art, to experiment without constraint, in order to materialize our wildest dreams. Our team of designers, jewellers and artists are developing their own tools and methods to make elegant and delicate glasses.
Creations result from a constant desire to associate traditional crafts with unexpected materials.
Mounts made in Paris
By combining traditional French know-how with an innovative spirit, the workshop constantly redefines itself, bypassing and pushing the limits and rules of eyeglass manufacturing. Thanks to our multidisciplinary approach, prototypes and patented processes are developed before production itself can begin.
Mineral, plant and animal materials are reinterpreted and magnified in the workshop. Each frame is structured around a high quality surgical stainless steel plate and covered with a thin layer of titanium.
An average of 30 steps are required to produce a mount. Each member of our qualified team can produce three frames a day.
Luxury and quality materials
Alligator leather glasses
These exceptional frames made of precious alligator leather are real luxury pieces. Skins with glossy reflections are magnified by a scale pattern harmonized with the frame.
Alligator skins come from farm farms in the USA and are governed by the Washington Convention.
Alligator leathers skate over time, depending on the wearer's use, the pH and acidity of the skin, as well as the U.V.
Recommendations for opticians:
Clean the glasses of your frame dry, or with the chamoisine provided slightly humidified;
do not allow the leather of your frames to come into contact with water, fatty bodies or cosmetic products for extended periods;
do not expose your mount to extreme temperatures.
Cow leather glasses

Our cows leathers with vegetable tanning "full flower" come from French cows and are tanned in Italy.
Full-flower cow leathers skate and darken over time, depending on the wearer's use, the pH and acidity of the skin, as well as the U.V.
Vegetable-tanned cow leathers are free of chromium in order to avoid any risk of allergy.
The leathers are worked manually to obtain a smooth surface, while preserving the material.
Eyeglasses made of d

The natural beauty of the skin pattern of the d The skins offer a smooth and soft surface that combines perfectly with cow leathers inside the frames.
The skins of Iguanes come from farming farms in Indonesia and are governed by the Washington Convention.
The leathers of the diguan are patinated over time, depending on the wearer's use, the pH and acidity of the skin, as well as the U.V.
Goat leather glasses

The Monsieur Seguin collection is made of genuine goat leather. The skins come from India and North Africa and are tanned in one of the few traditional mégisseries in southern France.
Goat leathers are distinguished by their pronounced natural grain.
The colors are stable in the U.V., a pigment layer is added in finish to enhance the colors.
These leathers aren't going to skate, but they're going to wear over time.
Stone leaf glasses

Stones from all over the world are natural and do not undergo any treatment.
The stones keep their irregularities and thus contribute to the beauty and originality of the mounts.
Over time, slates will run, shales and granites contrast, giving glasses a wet stone effect.
The incredible fineness of the stone leaf allows it to remain flexible and not breaking even on the mounts.
Galuchat's skin glasses

These skins of Galuchat come from free skate fishing in Indonesian seas or Sri Lanka, the fish is consumed for its flesh. Fishing and trade in rays is not governed by any specific international regulations.
The skate skin is transformed into Galuchat thanks to a traditional process of French craftsmanship. Several sanding steps of silica beads covering its surface are necessary to transform this skin into a polished and shiny mosaic. The finish of the frame slices highlights the beaded and graphic texture of the galluchat.
Silica grains are very resistant.
The skin color will darken with sebum and exposure to U.V.
The quantities available are very limited.
Wooden glasses
Wood from all over the world is invited to the Nemus collection. Palissandre, walnut, oak, maple and amarante highlight the drawing of their veins to sublimate the frames. On some rooms, wood leaves room for smoked cork, antibacterial and waterproof material par excellence.
With sebum and exposure to U.V., some wood will go slightly.
