Plasticdelux has its origin in 2014, its development lasted 1 year 1/2. The project was born from a reflection of what a pair of simplified glasses to its maximum, made in our workshop in France. Breaking with our usual way of doing things: we thought and realized a design using the less labour possible and Without spare parts (no hinge or screws). The focus is on designing and implementing complex machining programs on 5-axis digital controls. This project, which is ultimately complex in the milling of the face, forced us to invest in equipment and modernise our workshop.
Style and comfort:
A new way to treat hand made acetate... After machining in a block of material, the faces are left raw, without polishing, just the nose is polished for more comfort. The matt aspect of the bezel creates trouble on matter, we hesitate with a 3D impression, not! It is indeed cellulose acetate, 70% material from wood and cotton, offering a pleasant touch, a high-end invoice. The other imperative was to light and comfortable glasses where the choice of a very fine branch.
Colours:
Of course we're gone on bicolor combinations, playing on contrast and color associations approaching the world of sneakers. A yellow gold button face with blue branches or a flash pink with blue will light up the face pop-art way or with soft colors a duck blue with blackish branches, see also a pale pink with a lavender blue will inevitably soften your romantic face. Finally the basics: black face khaki branch and even more, the highly structured, black and amber turtle scale allow to pass incognito.
For optics: a game between 12 colors acid and tender as a deep and dense rose associated with a light evanescent rose will refresh the faces. This range has a single model: Second in two sizes XS and XXS.
On the other hand, we chose to work with an internationally renowned glassmaker. Zeiss, so that the quality either I can't blame you.
