A Family Legacy
The saga of Francois Pinton glasses is born thanks to Robert Francois Pinton. After leading the prestigious Meyrowitz House, he signed his first exclusive collections for the Gotha International and decided to found the Maison François Pinton in 1953. His son, Dominique, and then his grandchildren continue the legend by renewing and offering collections of frames with a unique style, which have become over the decades, real objects of passion inscribed in history.

Aristotle Onassis, the most famous Greek and worldly shipowner of the twentieth century, was a faithful customer and friend and François Pinton. The model « ONA », entirely made of a turtle's scale and equipped with a solid gold hinge, had been specially designed for him: he wanted to distinguish himself through original and exclusive accessories. Aristotle also used to send his private jet to Robert François Pinton to adjust his glasses on his private Greek island of Aristotle, Skorpios.
