Created in 2012, Ozed Company is a creative company of glasses of a new genus.
Straight out of the friction of the wax against the wood, at the detour of magical moments, Ozed is above all a state of mind. Original and singular, Ozed takes its essence into the world of gliding. She draws her resources from her music, art and way of life, to be a brand independent leaving room for creativity.
Motivated by the desire to find simple values, values of sharing, all members of the Ozed Family are involved in the development of the brand. Ozed is not our brand But that of all those who want to move things forward. All actors around Ozed are bound by these same values and the ultimate desire to simply have fun!

All our models are designed and designed in Lyon in our workshop of the Croix Rousse. They are then cut, polished, varnished... it is in all more than 100 steps that sequence to produce your future glasses

The metal has been recycled since industrial falls, the wood comes from eco-managed forests and our acetate is made from wood pulp and cotton.

Ozed engages for maximum protection of your eyes. Thanks to Ozed Dual TechnologyTM We offer you a new vision of the world!
Your vision is constantly exposed to many reflections that affect your perception. Because of its structure, your eye is less likened to certain types of light rays. Horizontal polarized rays are the most disturbing and dazzling. High reflection areas such as glazed surfaces, snow, water or sand transform solar radiation. During their reflections, the rays go back deformed (modification of the wave phase, direction, etc.) thus altering the basic signal and making them polluting for your vision.
The Polarized lenses, Ozed Dual TechnologyTM are developed from two superimposed linear polarizing filters with vertical components. These filters consist of crystals oriented by electromagnetic treatment. They make it possible to optimise the selection of undeformed waves, and to suppress the disturbing signals (reflected waves dephased, etc.).
The Ozed Dual TechnologyTM lenses thus eliminate the disturbing and dazzling waves for the retina, and recover the optimal signals facilitating the processing of images for the eye. Thus, they offer you an increased perception of reliefs, a more authentic radiance of colors, and improve the sharpness of contrasts. Your vision is clearer and your eye is protected against fatigue, which gives you optimal comfort even in areas of high reflection.
OZED UNLOCK TECHNOLOGYTM
To go even further in the quality of our products, we have sought solutions for facilitate change of glasses. Indeed on most sunglasses, the lenses are « clips » in force, creating likely tensions and weakening the frame in the case of wooden glasses. Thanks to the UNLOCK TECHNOLOGYTM, the research and development centre d-Ozed managed to solve the problem!
Indeed, two micro-visors specially designed by Ozed are placed on the tenon (upper and outer part of the face of the mount). It is now possible « to open » front face and change existing lenses without forcing. This unique process of « ringing » for wood, also allows to strengthen the frame in limiting glass voltages on the mount and the breakage during assembly.
Nothing easier, so just unscrew the tones, drop the glass, then come and position the new glass in the front face. Positioning is facilitated by the V-drawers that will guide it to its optimal location. All you have to do is re-read it and the trick is played!

MULTI-LAYER TECHNOLOGYTM
Ozed decides to push further the manufacture of wooden glasses. Thanks to the MULTI-LAYER TECHNOLOGYTM we build the wooden glasses the most resistant on the market but still the finest.
Indeed, our woods are now treated in baths allowing a finer and more flexible work on any type of wood. The MULTI-LAYER TECHNOLOGY is therefore a manufacturing process linking different layers of solid wood. With a alternating vertical and horizontal fibres We can multiply the strength of the mount.
This also allows us to combine different wood species, noble or exotic that would be too fragile without this process. You can also play on different shades of wood and get subtle color play effects, and even produce bi-colored glasses (in/out).
The MULTI-LAYER TECHNOLOGYTM finally allows for a fine working wood unmatched. The frames are thus discreet and refined. Everything you deserve!
