ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR: Crafts and design at the heart of each frame

An idea between friends that becomes reality
In 2006, Andreas Pirkheim, nicknamed Andy, and Wolfgang Scheucher, the Wolf in the name of the brand, found ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR. Their vision? Combine local and traditional craftsmanship with contemporary and innovative design. This label of glasses started modestly, but with great ambition. Today, our creations are worn and appreciated around the world, in 69 countries, a number that is growing. How do we perceive our success? In short, great!
Quality and design above all

The creative team of ANDY WOLF invests fully in the design, construction and assembly of each frame with passion, until it is perfect in terms of shape, material and style. Each frame is handmade and the materials used are the best in their category. Thanks to our nearby production facilities, we guarantee irreproachable quality, perceptible in every frame we cherish.
Welcome to the ANDY WOLF family
ANDY WOLF is a brand with commitment. This devotion comes from each person involved in the brand, for each one puts his heart and soul in his work. Our history began with the desire to combine the local and traditional craftsmanship of the eyewear with a contemporary and innovative design, but ANDY WOLF is much more than that. Here no one dominates, we all form a family. This means that we are ready to give and receive, to value and support each other, to love and trust each other, and to grow together. We are recognizable by our expressive design. We are recognized for our experience and know-how, as well as our courage and personality. We are known for our beautiful frames and our smile on our lips.
Considerable experience and dedication
All ANDY WOLF glasses, whether they are sunglasses or optical frames, are hand made with considerable experience and dedication. Our acetate mounts come from Hartberg, Austria, while our metal mount factory is located in the Jura region of France. The team of ANDY WOLF, made up of passionate people, is entirely dedicated to our brand. This is reflected in every frame and in everything we do on a daily basis. Thus, each person wearing ANDY WOLF glasses becomes a member of the ANDY WOLF family. Welcome!
Hartberg – where magic works

When was the last time you created something with your own hands? At ANDY WOLF, that's what we do every day. All our acetate mounts are carefully and lovingly handcrafted in our factory in Hartberg, Austria. This manufacturing process has been at the heart of ANDY WOLF since our inception. We have chosen to trust regional production and value local production. Our pride in our know-how and our love of glasses is obvious. Thanks to the ten-year experience of our staff in the eyewear industry, we can realize our visions. Our staff is irreplaceable. The precision and knowledge they use in the craft manufacture of our frames cannot be reproduced by any machine.
JURA – a French love story

Do you believe in lightning? At ANDY WOLF, we believe strongly. When we discovered our metal mount factory in St. Pierre, we immediately fell under the spell! The area around the Haut-Jura National Park is considered the cradle of the production of metal frames and is highly appreciated worldwide. Their long tradition of know-how dates back to the 16th century and has been passed on from generation to generation. In 2016, we integrated this fully equipped French factory with the ANDY WOLF family. Since then, we can count on their expertise and their love of craftsmanship. This integration allows us to assume full and personal responsibility for the production of our metal frames. This property gives us flexibility and ensures that our high expectations are met. Thanks to our confidence in local production and in the Jura region as a whole, ANDY WOLF received the « Guarantee certificate of French origin ». This ensures that our metal frames are entirely produced in France.
A design made with love in Europe

Some things never change, and local production has always been the cornerstone of our brand. It may seem an unusual idea, but for us, the world would be better if everyone were dedicated to sustainability. We do our part. Our raw material, acetate, comes from certified natural materials, while our metal is still partly recycled. We ourselves manufacture many of the components used in our glasses, however small, or we buy them exclusively in Europe. Thanks to our nearby production facilities, we avoid long transport routes and are able to guarantee an impeccable quality. This is reflected in all our excellent products!
